KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP) – A group of prominent Catholics is challenging church leaders’ opposition to stem cell research and to the proposed Constitutional amendment that would protect such research in Missouri.

I bet they are related to the radical groups like Catholics for a Free Choice and Call to Action.

Or maybe they are just sadly misinformed on what the amendment says about stem cell research. The Amendment is about cloning & EMBRYONIC stem cell research which has NEVER produced one treatment OR Cure.

Tom Eagleton is in the mix…why not just bring in John Kerry and Teddy also. Its one thing to offer a discenting opinion, its quite another to openly defy the Bishop. Why can’t we get these guys out!
