Hello Everyone!

I am looking for a Catholic healing mass in the Seattle area, as well as any contact information for priests, sisters, etc. that have been blessed with the gift of healing. If anyone knows of any can you please e-mail me?
Also, the reason for my search is due to the need for healing for a dear friend who is suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). i would really like to as you all for your prayers, which will be appreciated more than i can ever express in words!

Thanks and God Bless,

There is really no such thing as a “healing Mass” The Church has a Mass text “For the sick” (the Latin title is pro infirmis) in which we pray in a particular way for those who are sick–this can be either very general for all who are sick/ill or for a particular person(s).

You can ask your own priest, or any priest, to have a Mass for your friend’s intentions, and you can ask that he use the text “For the Sick”

Please consider reading “Instruction on Prayers for Healing” adoremus.org/CDF-Healing.html
from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith as this explains the Church’s teaching on this very important and essential part of the life of the Church

How do you get any better source of healing than the Body and Blood of Christ and Holy Unction?
