Hi all,

A priest is coming to my house tomorrow to bless the place. The house has never been blessed. I know one person died tragically and that another person was attacked on the premises so I would like all evil banished. The priest is happy to exorcise all evil from the dwelling. He messaged me tonight to ask if I had a copy of the blessing I would like said. I have searched the internet but I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Does anybody have a link to a powerful Catholic blessing of a home?

Thank you 🙏

I badly need my house blessed but I don’t want to have to awkwardly ask my non Catholic parents again… say a Hail Mary for me. I’ll say one for you.

I said that Hail Mary for you 🙏 Would you try get a priest in when they’re not at home?

I’m not too sure!😬 He asked me if I had a blessing in mind but I don’t 🤷I’m not sure what I’m looking for!

My priest has said he will only come if my parents approve.
He’s done it once before but I don’t want to have to explain that I believe evil had a chance to remain after the first blessing, considering my parents don’t believe in demons.

When our priest came to bless our house he brought his own blessing. I don’t remember what he said. I would think a priest would know what prayers to use.

Maybe another priest will come. I understand you’re in a sticky spot. You want to respect parents wishes but also want to protect them by blessing their dwelling. It’s not easy.

It’s all good. Priest contacted me and said he would bring his own blessings. I don’t need to search anymore. Thanks for help!🙏

You’re right Vicky. The priest said he has his own book of blessings so I need not worry anymore. Thanks for reply!

A priest once used The Prayer Against Malefice while blessing my home. It’s a good one.

Who said they have to be given advanced notice? 😄 My roommate once woke up to a Russian priest chanting and throwing Holy Water on the walls.

(But you’re right, since it’s their house, best to be obedient and get their permission)
