Catholic in State of Grace at Death but goes to Hell

If a Catholic has recently made a good confession to the best of their ability, has prayed the penance imposed, and is in a state of grace according to Catholic belief, are there any circumstances where that Catholic would be banished to Hell if they die suddenly even if they are repentant to the end?
 
I would appreciate all comments and would be especially interested in the comments of any RC priests out there.

Only The Judge … Knows who goes or not.

The Church teaches that anyone who dies in a state of grace will enter into eternal life with God. They more than likely will spend time in purgatory but not suffer eternal punishment in hell.
 
If someone is in a state of grace at the time of their death, they will be assured salvation even if they must enter purgatory; hell is solely for those who reject God and are not in the state of grace at the time of their death.

Being in the state of grace means you are in friendship with God; you will not go to hell if you are in friendship with God; if a person has recently made a sincere confession, is repentant of their sins, and loves God to the best of their ability, we can reasonably hope that they are in the state of grace.

Only God knows the state of a person’s soul at death so we don’t know specifically who is saved and who goes to Hell.
However, we can objectively say with absolute certainty that anyone who dies in a state of grace is saved, either straight to Heaven or Purgatory first before going to Heaven.

The Church teaches this. So we can be sure that anyone who dies in a state of grace is saved.
However, we, as in the living, can never tell with absolute certainty whether someone who died was in a state of grace. Only God knows that (and that person, once he or she dies).

Yes… Which is why the OP Question

Is about an oxymoron… For… unless corrected in some manner.
A Catholic in State of Grace at Death does not go to Hell
