Hi. Just recently I discovered a woman named Debbie Chavez on YouTube and I love her energy. I try to be a devout Catholic by being a daily communicant and other things and I love reading books on the Saints and i just personally feel the Catholic spirituality is the highest level of that makes sense. And even though I’ve always been inspired by Corrie ten Boom as I listened to this Protestant speaker Debbie Chavez talk on marriages (there’s another Protestant speaker named Peacefulwife that I find helpful too) it just made me curious to see if other Catholics find inspiration in Protestant speakers. I’ve heard Buddhists speakers (I’ve studied this) but I’m not inspired by them or their philosophy but a Protestant who loves Jesus I can be inspired by even though they are not Catholic. Just wondering if anyone experienced this. I’m also more of an introverted personality and although I love and believe in the Lord I don’t have that joyful personality which maybe contributes to my admiring certain personalities. When I read some Saints I can relate to the suffering daily for Christ but I would like that joyfulness. Sorry that’s another topic altogether, Happy Easter to all of my brothers and sisters in Christ here!
