Does anyone invest in an index mutual fund that reflects Catholic Values (e.g. no abortion/contraception/euthanasia/fetal stem cell research/pornography/etc.)? We were not happy to discover that our Vanguard index funds include some of these. Having said that, and considering we are willing to change, we have had considerable difficulty finding index funds (at a reasonable expense fee) that replace stock index funds in our portfolio…and conform to (orthodox) Catholic Values. Honestly, I am less concerned about ‘gender equality’ and ‘environmental change’ and/or illegal immigration/joblessness which are apparently promoted by the USCCB as values to be promoted when investing? If someone has some ideas as to how to appropriately(orthodox Catholic Values) invest in the market, using stock index funds (at a reasonable expense ratio), we would really appreciate the advice!
