Catholic League Website Hacked!

Someone just “hacked” the website of the Catholic League. I didn’t spend much time lurking, but it seems it has been done by some pro-Palestinian group. Lots of foul language directed at President Bush and Israel’s Sharon.

I don’t know what they think they’re accomplishing. It just makes me angry and confirms me opinion that these people have, and deserve, no respect.

I took a quick look and it seems visitors can’t go past the graffiti on the front page. Terrible

weird. hackers say they are from Morroco. has Morroco ever had any hacker war with the US? I only know Chinese hackers usually target US sites.
what they deserve is public humiliation

I am not quite sure what they are trying to accomplish. If it is to get Socially Active Catholics angry, then they succeeded. My anger is not at the target of their attack it is at attackers. If they are trying to inspire “fellow travelers” then they have visited the wrong site.

I know that I am wrong to be disrespectful (yes, sorry to say, even having contempt for) an entire people, but these Koran toting purveyors of hate just bring out the worst in me. I don’t like this feeling and I try to suppress it, but after 9/11 it gets very hard. They believe that the West in general and Christianity in particular is the enemy. They treat us with contempt and hate. It is very hard not to treat them in a similar manner. I am trying very hard not to fall to their level.

I have a few people causing problems on my site now too. Just disrupting things and trying to post links to porn sites.

My fellow mods and I have given them chance after chance to straighten up thier act, but now we’re taking a mod vote to determine if the members in question get banned or not. Most so far are in favor of banning.

I know it’s all connected somehow.

They could be anyone. They could be anti-Catholic fundamentalist Christians posing as Muslim. Or the other way round. They could be atheists, Hindu. etc…

There is no way of finding out who they are, Hackers can be anywhere in the world. In each country you have these whizkids that can learn how to hack. There is software that teach you how to hack.

The people trying to disrupt my site are atheists. I banned them, but they try sneaking back on from other computers.

My site is neither anti-Catholic or anti-Protestant. We even have a messianic Jew as a member. I think whoever attacked this site got mu URL from my signature here.

It’s wicked people who want to stop the preaching of the good news.This what I say to them !
