I am looking for Youtube or (free) MP3 treatments of ancient Rome (whether Christian or pre-Christian) from a Catholic perspective, or at least by someone who is consciously Catholic. Any suggestions?
With all respect, high qualitative publications of historians are not bound to any faith.
Look for the universities who do research on this topic. They publicate often as their own publishing house.
My prof has her resarch focus on the early christian rome. I worked for her for some years and stil don´t know her personal faith - and this is absolutely ok.
I have been through quite a bit of Roman history, I want something from a specifically Catholic perspective, i.e. drawing out elements that might be interesting and relevant to Catholics.
