My father-in-law was a mechanic. He kept 2 dishes with ball bearings at his station. While he was working he would say some Hail Mary prayers and when back at his station, he’d move the ball bearings over to the other dish, to keep track of where he was in the rosary.

My husband had a work station with an icon. One day a new guy started and they had a conversation about the faith. It turned out he eventually became a deacon in the Ukrainian Catholic church and is currently a few provinces away. They may have never had a conversation about the faith without the icon there.

If you have a story of faith to share, please do. God bless.

I was reminded about something that happened over twenty years ago while attending training sessions with others to be volunteers at a hospice. It was a few months after my husband had died. I was wearing the Miraculous Medal that my godmother gave to me. There were others there of various Christian denominations.

A lady asked me about the medal; I don’t recall what denomination she was. She asked because she had a love for the Mother of Our Lord and wanted to know more.
So, I invited her to my home and she came. She shared with me that her son had been murdered by his male room mate, and that she identified with Our Blessed Mother because of Our Lady’s sorrowful heart.

I was inspired by what she shared, and I had some pamphlets and magazines about Our Lady that I gave her. She was very grateful. I felt so blessed by our get-together.

Not a big story by any means, but last Lent, a coworker was talking about not eating meat on Fridays, and I mentioned the same and we chatted a bit.
