Well, the ‘family life’ forum is as close as I could come to finding the correct forum to ask…
…what’s the situation like for Catholics in Maine?
It looks as if I will be moving, in the next six months, to Limestone, Maine, where I am hoping St. Louis is still thriving: from the looks of the description of the parish on the Portland diocese website, there ARE priests in residence which has buoyed my hopes somewhat. And yet I only see a Saturday Vigil Mass listed.
So if there be any Down Easterners here, any tips for what Catholic life is like in Northeast Maine? Best to cross the border? Or just hop on over to Caribou which boasts two parishes with Sunday Mass?
Any insight welcome - all pardons if this was posted in an inappropriate forum!
