Does anyone know a good Catholic Movie Rating website? I go on Catholicnews.com, and I’ll type a movie title into the ‘Find a Movie’ bar, and no results will show up.

My question is, what is the best Catholic movie rating website? Or some website to find if a movie is appropriate for a Catholic to watch.

Okay, I’ve just done a little more reading in there. And it looks like I missed some things last I was on there. Thanks for the link!

The movie Ive been kinda curious about wasn’t on there. But that’s all good!
 
Thanks! But it doesn’t have the ratings like Morally Offensive, and the like. Should I not watch a movie if it’s morally offensive? Or is that up to my discretion?
 
IMDB does detailed lists of anything that might be morally offensive:

Violence
Nudity/Sexual content
Language

Up to your discretion. Will the film be a near occasion of sin? If you are under age, do your parents approve of the movie?

The IMDB Parents’ Guide isn’t always accurate, as the descriptions of potentially objectionable content are submitted by users. Recently I watched an Indian action movie, Tiger Zinda Hai, and checking the Parents’ Guide afterwards, there was a description of an explicit sexual scene that was NOT in the movie. I reported the erroneous information to IMDB, and they took it down. From the detailed description that was given I wonder if the misinformation was put there deliberately by someone with a sick mind.
