Hello all

I am trying to organise a debate between a respected Catholic scholar and a Muslim and thought this would be a good place to start in my search.

I am hoping to attract the most respected and senior Catholic in the UK to debate a very respected Muslim in the field of interfaith dialog.

I am assuming that the Canons and Bishops and Cardinals are the most learned but probably the most unlikely to debate, so i am here to ask you for suggestions.

Who do you regard as the most suited, qualified and respected Catholic, and would he debate?

I am hoping to attract a large audience at a suitabe venue in the UK and it will (God willing) be filmed

I don’t live in the UK but you might want to find a loyal Catholic in Academia (if possible!). If not in the UK perhaps one at a Catholic University in Ireland and have them fly out for the debate.
