As some of you know, here in Missouri, in Nov. we’re going to vote on whether to allow embryonic stem cell reseach in our state. I listen to a lot of protestant radio at work (the Bott radio network) and have been so impressed with their coverage. The programs they do on the subject really stress how this is not a denominational issue, but rather a Christian issue. They feature talks by Catholic bishops, Protestant pastors of all denominations, scientists, and others. It also sounds like they’ve teamed up with other Christian stations (both Catholic and Protestant) to make sure the word gets out.

We hear so much about denominational infighting, but when it comes to social issues like ESC and abortion, those lines need to blur, since we’re all on the same side. It’s just great to see how we’re coming together on this.

This is also the same radio station that I get to hear Fr. Frank Pavone’s Life on the Line broadcast.

I thought I’d share this–it’s something that’s really made me happy!
