I was a little bit disappointed that there didn’t seem to be much of a dialogue. Granted, I kept flipping around to other channels during the program, but I didn’t see the priest ask any questions of the protestant. Did I miss that part of the show?

As a Reformed Christian, I consider TBN the Heresy Channel half the time. I will guess many others of my faith do also.

Just my humble Opinion
That may be true, but the interview is aimed at protestants to break down thier bias of the Catholic Church, Check out the link about the video. It was offered to be shown on EWTN, but EWTN didn’t to want to derail the program, noting that it’s intended effect, a honest presention of the Catholic Church, would be better served if it was shown on a non-Catholic network. The distributor of the film was interviewed by Teresa Tomeo on her morning show on Ava Maria Radio and EWTN radio and by Dr Ray on his call in show. The video was produced by Kensington Community Church of Troy, MI.

The intent was not to be debate but a fair presentation on what the Church teaches. Being produced by protestants on such a matter is a great step forward by the protestant pastor. He will probably catch a lot of flack from other envangelicals.

Here is history of the project.ninevehscrossing.com/CommonGround/CGHistory.html

I watched this last night and it was excellent.👍 I’ll be buying the DVD soon, just to hear Father John tell the story of how God called him to the priesthood. :heaven: Powerful.

Anybody know of a Catholic web site that I can order the DVD from?

I thought the show was good, but that it just scratched the surface.

I think you’re correct there. I hope though that some evangelicals will have their hearts & minds opened just by seeing this show, & realize that a lot of their perceptions about the Church are false.🙂
