I wasn’t sure exactly where to post this thread, but I was wondering if there was anyone on these boards that belong to the Catholic Church that are not part of the Latin Rite.

Here’s a list of the 28 “Rites” in union with Rome:

ewtn.com/expert/answers/rites.htm

Also, anyone who knows of any that may be missing or if you are aware of unity that is forseen in the future with other Christian Rites that are not in union of Rome.

Thank you!

There are 5 Rites and about 23 Churches.

I am a member of the Byzantine (Ruthenian) Catholic Church and I attend a Melkite Greek Catholic Church as the closest Byzantine (Ruthenian) praish is about an hour and a half away.

Both of these are part of the Byzantine Rite.

There are a bunch of us byzantines around here.

Yeah… and they’re some of the coolest guys on here too! 👍
