Catholic speaker recommendations?

I’m assisting others in my parish in hosting a women’s retreat this Fall. We are looking for reputable, catholic, female speakers for a presentation. I don’t know if our budget will allow for travel expenses from out of state, but since we are centrally located in CA I am very hopeful I’ll hear of somebody in CA who is available. I don’t know where to start! Can you suggest the names of speakers? Thanks so much! H 🙂

Thanks, I’ll have to take a look at that list. As for the Everts, I would have to see what she has by way of topics in her back pocket. Aren’t they teen chastity speakers? The group we are targeting is adult women of all ages, but it will mostly be the 40-80 year old set that shows up. My husband and I are trying to pull together a team to present the Evert’s Theology of the Body for Teens program as a two day retreat for the Confirmation students. It would be a whole lot easier if I just had them come out and do it instead of me! Unfortunately, we don’t have a budget for that one! Bummer. Anyway, thanks for your help. I’ll go check out that link now.
