As a former Protestant, I used to leave gospel tracts around the place to spread the Protestant gospel.

Does anyone know of any Catholic tracts that would convey the Catholic Gospel that would be suitable for mass distribution? I would like to adapt them so that they would all include a link to my personal evangelization website, basic-christianity.com.

Catholic Answers has tracts, that is one of their primary purposes. Go to their main site.

The Knights of Columbus also have tracts they produce as does Our Sunday Visitor and many others.

Free trifold tracts:

**The Pope John Paul II Society of Evangelists
**pjpiisoe.org/resources_pamphlets.html

Free comic book tracts:

One example of a cheap Catholic tract with the basic Gospel message is God’s Love For You by Catholic Answers:

Please let me know if these are what you’re looking for. I have other options as well. There are free Catholic tracts in many formats, and if you’re looking for free texts, I know where to find a lot of them.

Okay, so. Say that I get a pamphlet? Do I give the person by hand to hand or leave it somewhere so someone can see it and think ‘oh, what’s this about?’ I do talk about my faith with my gaming friends and I do try to uphold all the teachings of the Church. I’ve heard convert by example. I know for a fact that no one has been converted to my knowledge.

However, I did help someone say the rosary and gave someone else a Our Lady of America Prayer card. I also gave a small child a Our Lady of Czechstowa prayer card (Course, the parents weren’t too thrilled as they thought it was a tarot card. I kindly explained to them what it was.)

Sounds like you need to get in contact with a Catholic group called St. Paul Street Evangelization.

They can provide you with free basic training on how to evangelize in your local area using pamphlets, rosaries, and holy cards. Their basic model works like this:

You get a bunch of rosaries, holy cards, medals, and Catholic pamphlets. Oh, and a folding table. Maybe get some business cards from your local Catholic church too. Then, head out to a public place, like a big sidewalk, or a Farmer’s market, or a bus stop, or a local park…anywhere that people are allowed to gather in public for free. Set up your folding table, put out your pamphlets and rosaries, and start asking passers-by if they’d like a free rosary. If they take one, talk to them! Tell them what it is, how to pray it, show them your literature, ask them questions about their faith and their walk with God. If they show an interest, offer them a business card from one of your local Catholic churches and tell them when Mass is. Or what RCIA is. This is an easy way to get involved evangelizing without spending any money.
