I was just wondering if Catholicism had it’s own version of state (like caliphate).
I didn’t read the whole Bible, I am in a process of reading it from beginning to end.

Not really. Caliphates are a concept somewhat unique to Islam, because it doubles as a political ideology and has a comprehensive system of laws to the end (what is known in the West as sharia). Islamic sharia law makes provisions for practically everything, rendering the need for a civil or secular law redundant.

A Catholic version of a caliphate would’nt be a pure caliphate as Catholic law doesn’t cover every civil issue that could possibly pop up in a State.

Catholic ‘caliphates’ or Vatican theocracries aren’t really that new and most certainly didn’t apply Catholicism as the law of the land. More often than not they were the exact same as surrounding states, but differed in that they had the Pope as a ruler.

I mean it would be pretty neat if there were Catholic state, wouldn’t it?
Also can’t we take laws from the OT?

No.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit
Matthew 28,19

As you can see all nations = whole world

In the end, our land is Heaven.

I mean it looks like a Catholic state to me

Depends on what you mean by a Catholic state. There are countries where Catholicism is enshrined as the state religion in the constitution but that operate as your run-of-the-mill Western democracy. There aren’t any Catholic states where Catholic religious law is the only code of law or where the institution of the Catholic Church acts as a political hierarchy.

Kingdom of God isn’t some Earthly territory.
It looks like to you but it doesn’t mean it is, I don’t see where it says the thing you mean.

Be very careful. We have separation of church and state for a reason, and a very good one.

My brain wants to say patriarchate, but only because of the sound
