Does anyone know where you can buy those cheap, paperback Bibles in bulk for witnessing, but with a Catholic translation instead of a Protestant one? Thanks a lot!
the lowest cost source for paperback bibles in bulk is the American Bible Society, as low as $3 for the GNT, or $4-5 for the NAB. the versions that are Catholic and have imprimatur are designated in the catalog as such, and have the Maltese cross logo in the description. the only Spanish version they sell that is approved is Santa Bible (the translation that corresponds to the Good News version in English). I have never seen another Spanish bible translation for less than $12 to 14.
The NAB red cover paperback is also available for $4 to 5 in most Catholic catalogs that sell books and gifts for bookstores and parishes. try communication direct, autom, and esco.com
