Catholicism (by Fr. Barron) the Book

Hi guys, I’ve seen the great series by Fr. Barron and I think it’s awesome! I now saw there’s a book by him with this title, is it worth it if I watched the series? I’m asking because the “Word on Fire” products are really overpriced, Thanks!

I found it at my local library. If I recall correctly, it’s a compilation of the texts used in the series.

As I recall, it is almost (but not quite) a verbatim transcript of the video series. The differences seemed (to me) like minor edits.

I got it from my local public library through inter-library loan. Then I discovered that my parish has a copy of the book and the videos that parishioners may borrow.

P.S. There is also a workbook. I am not sure if that is what you saw. The workbook has a lot of additional study material.

I enjoyed the book. It is basically the narration of the movie in book form.
