What kind of information do you guys have about Catholics and their efforts to evangelize Muslims? Information about the degree to which it’s been successful would be of particular interest.

More specifically, I’m looking for information about conversions to Catholicism in Africa (how many, what’s happening, how are they doing it, what will the outcome look like in various contries, will it/could it get violent?) and in Europe (how many Muslim immigrants are coming to different countries, how are they assimilating, what percentage convert, what will the future look like for Catholicism in Europe based on the conversion rate of incoming Muslims and prevailing fertility rates?)

Those kinds of questions. Can anyone help me out? It’s mostly a statistics question, so if you have any available, please share. Thanks!

Well, the thing is…Catholic missions aren’t usually directed at conversion specifically. Catholic missions bring the love of Christ in a tangible way, so there are conversions, but I’m not sure many statistics are kept. Converting Muslims is always a risky endeavor since in many areas of Africa and Indonesia, the family will kill the convert as a matter of honor. In the Middle East there is little tolerance for Christianity if conversion is the suspected motivation. So all of these efforts are dangerous, very dangerous and frequently fatal. “Religion of peace,” sure.

I can tell you for sure on the demographic side, that in many countries in Europe, the amount of Muslim immigrants has overwhelmed the social systems. They are not assimilating at all and in fact, England has over 80 Sharia courts that operate separately from the laws of England itself. Which means that Muslim women in England might as well be in their home countries for all the protection they get. There are many videos on the demographic problems - just put “muslim demographics” in the search box of Youtube and you will get the statistics.

The civilized Western world is not reproducing, and abortion has already cost us over 50 million babies since 1973. Muslims ARE reproducing - in the middle east a man can have up to 5 wives I believe and all of them will be having babies.

Hello
Code:
Islam forbids the conversion of Muslims to Christianity. It is punishable by death. A Muslim man can date a marry a christian woman so long as she converts to Islam at some point. However, a Muslim man can NEVER convert to Christianity for a woman. So good luck with evangelizing. Not saying it's 100 percent impossible but with the fear of death hanging over their heads it's not going to be easy.
Take Care M
