Yes, called Sheol. I’ve already established that. And Sheol resembes Hades to a point where they are both basically the same, even though they had different origins. Hades was also used in early Christianity to explain the “abode of the dead” as a synonym to Sheol, especially when translated into Greek from Hebrew.

From what I understand, both the rich man and Lazarus were in Sheol, but on different levels. Lazarus was on the righteous level also called “Abraham’s bosom”. The rich man obviously, was in the unrighteous part. Both parts were inaccessable to each other.
