Hi!

I misunderstood your emphasis on the Resurrection; since Protestants reject the notion of the Crucifix and some Catholic parishes are removing the Crucifix and replacing it with an empty cross or space or a marginalized tiny Crucifix… I took your post to seem to be geared towards that understanding.

No offense. Our parish has a processional cross planted in front of the altar that looks similar to this, but about 2 feet tall and with pictures in the buds.

Hi!

I’ve seen this inclusion of the Holy Spirit on other Crucifixes… I think it is so appropriate since it is through the Holy Spirit that God Cleanses and Regenerates man, in Christ’s Blood!
