I found a link to a “fun social community of ethical godless people” called secularity.com. Get this: you actually have to commit a mortal sin before they let you in:

I deny a belief in the existence of any god(s), and I agree to the Terms of Service (box to check)

As I recall, for a believing Catholic to deny the existence of God is a grave violation of the First Commandment, and therefore a mortal sin.

Also, check out this beauty in their Terms of Service:
Secularity.com's Terms of Service agreement:
The Service provides an anonymous uncensored public forum with freedom of expression for its members, subject to the discretion of the Service…

You agree not to defame or disparage the Service or its agents, either on the Service or elsewhere.
I love the classic “you’re free to criticize anything and anyone except for us” clause! How hysterical is that!

Do we really need any more proof that the “tolerant” secular world is tolerant of everyone and everything except for people who believe in God? I honestly got a bizarre feeling of dread when I saw the site, as if I were standing outside looking at a closed door, behind which is a long stairway down into Hell.

Go ahead. Stand outside the door and tell me if you feel the same way.

You mean like the “You can’t discuss a moderator’s actions” rule right here?

Their forum, their rules. It’s that simple.

At first I read it and thought it was simply a joke…

It makes you consider to read all the small print before you click a box under the Terms of Agreement.
How many of us usually skip all that read and just click, “I Agree”.

That Terms of Agreement makes one sit up and take notice!

👍 Ha! Good point. Also a lot like the fobbiden topics as well. As long as it is a private entity, they can do what they want. For better or for worse.

Well, I think they made a big mistake with a disavowal of belief. If you deny the existence of ANY gods, that includes… you! After all, setting yourself up as the sole arbiter of right and wrong is to make yourself like a god. I think they might be unnecessarily limiting their membership… :hmmm:

If you believe that you are a god, do you have to obey man-made rules?
