How does a Catholic, in accordance with the Church’s teachings, witness and inform JW’s without being on the offense or defense and showing them the Christ we as Catholics know? How do we give the stance of the Catholic Church when they are busy thumbing through their scriptures to prove us wrong without losing our temper?

What is the Church’s stance on JW’s?

Jason Evert has written a book that really explains it well.
I have used it myself when the door to door proslytizers come knocking. Very practical ideas. Plus explore the home page of this website and type in Jehovah Witness and you will get a long list of explanations of the Catholic church’s stand on their beliefs. Worth checking out.👍

I am catholic, but I am not practicing. My uncle who was also originally catholic is JW for a long time now. I find him the best of all of my family. He is just pure good. Never tries to convert anybody, he`d tell his opinion about things and how JWs see the world, but thats it. I am not trying to take a side or promote any religion. I never tried to convince people of what they should beleive, I beleive in God not in religion, in good people and not their origin. There are several religion, but there is one God. All I am saying is see the man not his clothes, see his actions not his beleives.

If you look at the history of the JW from a non-bios source it should raise red flags about itself from the beginning. I have people close to me who were at one time and some who are now JW. People who are born and raised by another faith know nothing else but what they were raised with and unless they independently seek the truth they will not know any different. This doesn’t mean they are condemned by any means and there are many good people outside the Catholic Church. We must realize however, that leaving the Church founded by Christ for any other faith can be detrimental however we cannot judge, as we do not know any man’s heart or circumstance as God does and only God knows of every man. Prayer is the answer.
