Where are the souls of the people that lived before Jesus came or that live(d) in places where the Gospels haven’t been told? In heaven, purgatory or hell?
Thanks

Not a fan of John Calvin are you?I don’t think we can assume they are all in the same place.
I’ll leave it to someone more educated to answer fully, but my personal belief is that circumstances are not what determines whether someone is saved or not… it’s ultimately between an individual and God. If my logic is right, another way to say this is that nobody is predestened to hell. It seems to me that God gives us all what we need to love him back… and we don’t always need to understand what we’re doing.
That is for Jesus to decide, I just pray for themWhere are the souls of the people that lived before Jesus came or that live(d) in places where the Gospels haven’t been told? In heaven, purgatory or hell?

Jesus descended into the place where all the souls who died before He came dwelled. They all got the opportunity to recieve the Gospel or reject it. I believe for the most part they began the process of purgation and a few went immediately to heaven. When Christ died and when He rose there were reports of people walking around Jerusalem who were said to have come out of the grave.Where are the souls of the people that lived before Jesus came or that live(d) in places where the Gospels haven’t been told?
