I am trying to understand what is going on about this Fr. Manel Pousa.

There are other things about this schwab which are similar to pousa, and that has piqued my interest; for Schwab’s theology and “NO-SIN” teaching led many to reject confession altogether at his parish out in St. Helens, Oregon.
I recall that Schwab used to have the “Body of christ has aids” shirts, and such in the 1980’s; and openly talked about ways to politically force the church to change its public teaching on this issue; and I also recall my great disappointment as Leveda left this see, that Schwab was promoted to a much larger parish before publicly embarassing the archdiocese with his actions (which still met no public censure…!)
I would have expected this other priest, Pousa, under the statements made by PJP II, to have been under a sentence of “AUTOMATIC” excommunication (latae sentencae (sp??)). For abortion goes beyond the homosexual union issues into murder; and is correspondingly more severe.
However, everything I have come across indicates that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), which is under Leveda’s oversight as far as I know – held a tribunal of some kind, and exonerated this Pousa from any kind of censure.
Does anyone know of links to the official documents/press release from the CDF on this issue.
I am having some trouble finding official statements, and although this is typical of the kind of thing which Leveda has done in the past – I wanted to know if there are any devil’s advocates who could inform me of possible reasons for this action that might make at least some sense???

Now, this isn’t much different than a priest in Leveda’s old stomping grounds who performed a same sex “blessing” between a three way couple; eg: Fr. Elwin Schwab. When the union went violent, it made news in “The Oregonian” (which is pretty anti-church often-times, but this was too sensational to pass over…)
