I don’t know why I like these like I do … but I often think its fun to propose look alikes.

Especially among celebrities. Getting the photos the same size is nice … but just showing what you mean by showing side by side photos will do the trick.

With that beard and similar mustache … Mel Gibson DOES look like the Burger King “KING!”

That character always makes me laugh. “Jack” from Jack in the Box too.

While we ponder Pope look alikes … Was Pope Benedict the grown up version of the little boy who starred in “The Tin Drum”?

The boy (or man who never aged in the movie but always looked like a boy … and spoke mainly through warnings on his tin drum … as about him Germany and the town around him lurched into moral dangers) - always reminded me of Benedict … maybe it was the eyes … or the fact that their mission was similar. :hmmm:

My linkage may not have been that far fetched. “The Tin Drum” was written by Gunter Grass who won a Nobel Prize for it. Grass claimed to have met and befriended Joseph Ratzinger shortly after the War when both were prisoners. Their paths diverged with Ratzinger becoming Pope Benedict (and having no memory of the friendship with Grass), while Grass was an outspoken political leftist … who admitted just before his death that he’d been a member of the Waffen SS … and not a draftee into the German forces as Ratzinger had been.
