In Eastern Catholic Churches, many of the parish priests are married before ordination.
I know several myself.
And they are zealous pastors, beloved and respected by their congregations.
There are even a few married Latin rite priests.

Hello!
I heard Father Corapi speak on the Cateschism last night and his selection was on the Sacrament of Marriage. He spoke of the celibacy of Priest during this. H
His personal reflection was as follows:
He felt said, when prior to taking his final vows, he thought of never having a wife or children. Then he said it hit him hard that he had a Bride (the Church) and would have many, many children (the parishioners). He would be have more than enough to satisfy his life. He would be there exclusively for them.
I liked how he expressed his sediments. It is basically the same for any religious who takes the vow of chasiity.

Secular priests, on the other hand, do not take any vows.
