The question before was: What is Celtic Mass?

Well, been there now and back and have rephrased the question:
What is MASS? (Because Celtic is the adjective and not the proper noun! Celtic refers to one particular, cultural interpretation of MASS.)

I’ve been to Mass many, many, countless times. But today, I spent time reflecting exactly What is MASS? I haven’t explored this question in total yet, but today have made a first step.

Other things came through today with reference to Celtic, though…storytelling, a name: Robert N. Right, Belfast, Milwaukee, children, gifts and these led me to something that has been going on for quite some time.
There is a professor named Robert Enright who has taken a scientific approach to forgiveness and practiced this in Belfast Ireland. I do believe that for my own life, I should look into his writing and see what he is and his writing is all about. I’ve known for ages that I have needed to heal from and forgive some tragedies that have happening in my life. I think that God has led me to this particular Mass, which just happened to be a Celtic Mass, to be connected to a bit of information that would help me, (an answer to my prayer.)

As far as the bells being blessed…What a beautiful sight! What a beautiful sound! The church was packed until the priest went to the front and said, “The Bishop’s outside, folks, blessing the bells before they start ringing.” A crowd moved outside, into the sunlight and there was the Bishop wondering why no one showed up for the bell blessing. (HA) He just got the blessing said when the bells started clanging with a B major triad chord. Before the bells stopped ringing, the people started going back inside. It was so-o-o cool!
Normally, people trickle in one here and one there, this was a ‘mass’ of people going through open doors. The simple sight
was what one might think would happen in the end of times. Faces all pointing in one direction, all going to worship, all smiling.

In good weather, wouldn’t it be absolutely cool to kick all the people out of the pews, make them go outside and then all come in together!?!?! What a symbolic act!
