Certainty isn't in the will like faith and knowledge are?

In other words, charity, first of all, does not include certainty in its reason, as faith and knowledge do, and, secondly, charity resides in the will, which is not a faculty of cognition or reflection.

Why is there certainty in knowledge and faith but not in acts of the will?

I think it means that love is a disposition, an orientation of the will towards the good of others. It isn’t derived from knowledge but simply is.
