If you tell your friend something you will do and it has nothing to do with your friend, can you change your mind about doing it or would that count as a lie

Have you registered for your Youth group yet? Middle School Youth group?

Well, my pointis, all of this would be discussed for you and your peers in Religious Ed. You shoudl enroll, it’s informative, prayerful and sometimes fun even.

Jesus told story of two sons - and dad told them to work the farm.
One said yes, but didn’t go.
The other said no, changed his mind, and went.
Which did his Father’s will ?

You may change your mind, that is not a lie. Michael, your still young, don.t fret over little things. God grant you the knowledge to know within your being when you must come to Him in the confessional God bless you.🦋🦋

If it is something like ‘I will be going for a walk after supper by myself’ and after supper you don’t go for the walk because something else came up, not only can you change your mind, I would recommend changing friends. They have no right to control your life

Now, if you say ‘I am going to sign up for ballet to meet girls’ and it has nothing to do with your friend but you are trying to influence him into signing up for ballet and you keep repeating it over and over, then yes, you would owe him an apology if he signs up for ballet and you are not there
