Chapel in a former Catholic hospital

I realize this is an odd question, but I’ve always wondered about this. A hospital I work for was previously a Catholic managed facility that had a resident priest who held daily mass in the chapel. The chapel is beautifully adorned with statuary, the stations of the cross, altar, holy water font, etc… Many years ago the church ended their management contract with the hospital. When they left, the nuns removed all of the crucifixes, icons and bibles from patient areas, but left everything in the chapel (i.e. - tabernacle (empty, of course), sacrementary, book of gospels, vestments, altar cloths, paten, cruets, ciborium, etc…). There hasn’t been a mass there since they left and we hold non-denominational services there at Easter and Christmas time. Given the preface, is it ok for these items to remain in the chapel and if they were to hold a mass in the chapel, is it still a sacred place? Does any of this matter? 🤷
 
A rite of deconsecration of the chapel may have occurred. The sacred items were possibly left in case of a future Mass.
Perhaps you could contact the diocese and draw the question to attention.
While the below canon may not perhaps be violated, the sacred objects may have been forgotten

Can. 1210 Only those things which serve the exercise or promotion of worship, piety, or religion are permitted in a sacred place; anything not consonant with the holiness of the place is forbidden. In an individual case, however, the ordinary can permit other uses which are not contrary to the holiness of the place.
