Earlier today while shopping online looking for a rosary, I came across something called a “chaplet”. I never heard of these before, or seen one. I was wondering what exactly they are and how exactly you pray them?
A chaplet is a sacramental similar to the Rosary. Some even use the same beads as the Rosary (like the Chaplet of Divine Mercy) and some have their own set; it all depends of the form of the prayers and how they are repeated. There are books available on Sacramentals and there is usually a card or pamphlet explaining how to pray a particular chaplet when you purchase the beads for it.
