Cheating in a video game?

Hey, so I play this one game and I usually buy accounts either for some of my friends or myself. I really enjoy playing this game and I am pretty good at it. When I buy an account I usually check stats and if its good I play on it. This game is also multiplayer but skins on the account don’t affect gameplay it’s simply just for the enjoyment on which skin you are using. I am going to be thruthful and im pretty sure buying accounts is against terms of service, but I still do it because I dont see how it affects multiplayer it’s just simply for the enjoyment of skins. Would this be considered a sin or would it have to be cheats to give you an advantage for it to be a sin?

IDK about the cheating part, but the part I quoted from your post stood out to me. The reason it stood out is because - not understanding why you’re not supposed to do something is not a good enough reason to disregard it, and then just do what you want because you don’t see the harm in it. That line of thinking is a common pitfall, and if you can see yourself doing it, you can pause and ask yourself, “why is this thing/rule the way it is?”

Yes, I’ve realized and I have told the people that I bought accounts from to keep the money and not send me the accounts, since there is always a reason for it to be banned if its bad. I also prayed and got it all set. Ty, for the response God bless
