When you want to discuss Bible and History of Christianity, you need to stick to the facts- not to the fairy tales.
Who will win in the game where one cheats? The answer is: the cheater, for objective reasons. So fighting Chick is difficult because speaking “the truth” won’t do much effect- same way as playing fair won’t help much in the game with cheater.
It’s more psychological warfare then Christian apologetics.
Altough I don’t like to use it much, I once asked a person why the Bible calls Christian organizations in Apostolic times “Churches”( “Church of Corint” ) rather then “denominations” . I feel he had more problems with this then with Purgatory.
