Does anyone enjoy these books?
I love them! Especially “Chicken Soup for the Dog and Cat Lovers’ Soul”. Read one a nite to my 11 yo boy–he looks forward to it.

We have about 5 of them. Bought them all at thrift shops for 50 cents.

Being the Curmudgeon that I am, I do not. Based on the sales of these and the varrious titles for the books - I see many people do enjoy them.

I guess jrabs that you haven’t read Chicken Soup for the Curmudgeon Soul or is it Three Day Old Soup for the Curmudgeon Soul. Excellent collection to add to your club library.

Because I am an #%%)!$ I could contribute to such a book!!

I read a couple of the ones for the “teenage soul” when I was in high school. I liked them. Good little stories.

I’ve read for Mother’s soul, and a few of the plain old soul ones. I like the stories. A good Catholic version is the Amazing Grace series. Talk about a cryfest!!!:crying:

Lily,
My son received the teenage soul one…I can tell you this…he read it he loved it and it really opened up some wonderful conversations between he and I. I wish more folks would use books like this to open their hearts to the precious gift of life.

I enjoyed “Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul”. Maybe I’ll check out the “dog and cat” one, too. 🙂

I’ve read most of them, and own about half of those I’ve read.

I really liked the “Chicken Soup for the Soul Cookbook!” 👍

I give them as gifts and always get good comments. I enjoy them as well.

Love and peace
Mom
