Child Soldiers: Past and Present

For deceased child soldiers in various fights. We may not see monuments in their homeland for their remembrance, but they are not forgotten as we know of their sad legacy around the globe.

May they rest in peace and those who are filling their ranks be guided to a better life if possible. Amen.
 
And let us pray that if monuments do ever exist, that one day we can say, “it is merely a distant memory of a past we may never see again.”
 
Lord have mercy on the souls of child soldiers who have died
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name please rescue those still involved in battle and danger,
and heal their trauma, and the brutalization that they have sustained.

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

In Matthew 18, Jesus speaks of children coming to him. Automatic or not, I know children of different faiths may have complicated this. But my conscience says pray anyway and share Matthew 18 here. Praying an additional prayer for this intention.
