Only if you watch it. While it’s true that there are some hotels out there that do not pipe that garbage in, they are few and far between. If one can find a hotel that does not have “smut on demand,” then I think it would be a good idea to choose that one and let the management know why you chose their hotel.

There is no sin on your part just because the hotel makes this available.

Unmarried couples sleeping together might cause scandal but the sin comes in the act of fornication. As long as they don’t force you to share a room or watch, you’re OK…It is OK for gay couples to share a room. Being gay is not a sin. Homosexual acts are…The discipline not to eat meat on Friday’s has not been a sin for about 40 years.

May I humbly suggest you brush up on Catholic theology and moral teaching before you make fun of it, else you just look stupid.

I’m quite well read in Catholic moral theology, thank you. My point was why worry about movies being shown in hotels when there are other things going on there as well. Straining at gnats while swallowing an elephant.

Just an FYI, eating meat on Friday is still sinful UNLESS another form of penance is substituted. And that only changed in 1983, not 40 years ago.

To the OP, good luck finding a hotel that does not offer pay per view pornography. You might find a private hotel somewhere that doesn’t have it but they are very rare. In light of that, go ahead and stay where it’s convenient and don’t worry about it!
