After personally reviewing the new Chris Daughtry CD via the audio systems in my pick up truck and my work out room - I give the CD my most vigourous approval. :yup:

This is hard rock - so not for everyone’s taste. So its not puppy dogs and spring flowers - it has generous muscle and power without being negative or too in your face. Sounds are similar ‘nickleback’ or ‘three doors down’ except with Daughtry’s rip-you-in-half athletic vocals.

You will find several spiritual themes in his songs. And in the CD sleeve you will find the first person Daughtry thanks for his success and life is “his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”

I recommend you get this CD for yourself, or any rock lover on your Christmas list!

Hi aimee!
Over the last several months I have had an outside job in addition to our two business and consequently I have been working about 120 hours a week!
Things have slowed way down, and we have closed one of the business now. Plus my outdoor activities have been curtailed by the snow! So you’ll be seeing a lot more of me. 😃

I just bought this CD a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE it! I don’t think there is one song on his CD that I don’t like! My favorite song is “What I Want” featuring Slash doing a killer guitar solo! You are right, 2 thumbs WAY WAY up!!

It is an amazing debut CD. His voice has so much more emotion and feeling than say that of Chad Kroeger of Nickelback. He almost reminds me of Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.

The best song I think is “Over You”. It is 100% the situation that just happened to me (she walked out) and it has become my anthem.

In addition, I need to promote a band from my hometown of Pittsburgh, The Clarks. Check them out at www.clarksonline.com If you like rock/alternative, check 'em out.

Yes! I really like “Over You” too, one of my favorites. Also, I really like “All these lives”… such a touching song about missing children. You can really tell that Daughtry has a soul.
Have you noticed all the christian themes in this CD?
For instance “Crashed into you”.
It is an incredible CD. Love it!
