Denzel Washington, And Jim Caviezel are also very strong christians; and very outspoken,
 
Lady Gaga has also become outspoken that she is a catholic and prays the rosary/ attends Mass,

Just joking really. But it’s difficult being an outspoken christian and at the same time be taken seriously these days. Popular culture is anything but Christian. Acting is probably one of the few public avenues where one can be both popular and Christian, because ones faith is not in the spotlight…

But hey, maybe i don’t get out much.
 
We seem to be hearing more episodes like this, people publicly affirming their faith and belief. It’s not an avalanche yet, but is the snow falling? Are people getting sick of the nihilism and greed of society, and slowly waking up? I’d like to think so.

When she starts making songs about loving one-another and living a saintly life as opposed to the pervasively hedonistic message we get in music today, and still remains a popular best seller, then i will be impressed.

We need a few catholic singers to start writing songs like Chris Tomlin’s 🙂
 
I have a ballad written up. been looking for a strong singer, because my voice isn’t strong enough. Give me a couple of hours i will send you the lyrics. Perhaps i will send you a recording so you can get an idea of the song. That might be better.

yes, it takes courage to speak out about
God on an American awards show.
i think he is trying to reach out after the celebrity suicides and people, especially
people trying to cope in this crazy world
we live in.
 
I remember when he tweeted about praying for a director who had a stroke and people were so angry at him 😦
He seems like a pretty solid guy. There’s already conspiracies about how MTV might have edited his speech where he’s talking about grace and some people think he was forced to say the speech after apparently last year’s show had some satanic jokes. I don’t know about that…
He’s mentioned his Christianity before and there’s rumors that a friend of his has said Chris is getting sick of Hollywood.

Again, just rumors but I’m glad that he did have the chance to say that God is real and that praying is awesome! As well as mention Jesus dying for us.
