Ditto. I went to ours today. We have to have it early to enable some of our priests the ability to get back to their parishes in time for Good Friday.

I would recommend arriving early. I didn’t but managed to secure one of the last seats at the back, then felt guilty when I saw some elderly parishioners standing and sacrificed my comfort. It was worth it. And yes I offered up my suffering (and next year I am taking a folding stool and cushion because I am a wimp).
 
Thanks for your answers! I wanted to attend it last year but wasn’t able to. I ended up attending it tonight and it was an amazing experience. It was around an hour and fifty minutes. I arrived around forty five minutes before the start of the mass and the parking lot and most of the street parking was already full but everyone was still in the narthex talking to the priests and seminarians so I sat down early so I would get a pew though it ended up that the church was full but no one was standing.
