Did Christ in Matthew 12:33-37; 23:16-32 commit sin? or did he contradict his being Divine/God with his degrading words for the jews?

No, of course Jesus did not sin in Matthew 12. It would be impossible for Jesus to sin anyway since He is God. What Jesus was pointing out was the Pharisees extreme view that you should rather let a man perish than save someone on the Sabbath. In Jewish law, the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. This is the reason that in Orthodox Judaism medical personell and such are permitted to work on the Sabbath. In Jewish law, it is okay to set aside the law as long as it is to save a life.

Mark 2:27-28

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Catholic dogma makes clear that Christ, as a Divine Person, not only did not sin, but could not sin.

If I may clarify a bit, there are three commandments in the Jewish Law that cannot be set aside in order to save a human life. They are the commandments against murder, blasphemy, and adultery. Any other precept of the law may be set aside in order to save a human life.

It is true that men are not to judge one another in such a way, particularly because we cannot know what is in another’s soul. All the same God can judge men, and Jesus was God. .And according to the Book of Acts, Peter the Apostle said that the Father “commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that he(Jesus) is the one ordained by God to be judge of the living and the dead”(Acts 10:42).

Read the prophets, God has some not so nice things to say. So, Jesus did not conflict with his divine nature. And, no he did not sin because he was telling them the truth.

I can’t remember where abouts in scripture it is (maybe the Old Testament) but we are told if we do not help pick up somebody (nicely of course) on there short-commings then his sin is on our soul, but if we do rebuke the man then our soul is free of that man’s sin and we have done a commendable act.
