Not to the actual city as far as I know–of course, He lived preached in an area controlled by Romans.

The closest thing would be the story about St Peter told in the movie ‘Quo Vadis’.
Story is during the persecutions Peter was fleeing Rome, and saw Jesus along the road, heading towards the city rather than away from it.
He said ‘Quo vadis, domine?’ (‘where are you going, Lord?’), Jesus responded ‘I am going to Rome to be crucified again.’ Of course this gave Peter the courage to go back and face his own martyrdom.
There’s a church just outside Rome to this day called the ‘Domine Quo Vadis’ church.
