The Bible makes it clear that one cannot be saved unless one confesses their sins, right?
And I hope no one hear thinks that a true sign of repentance has occurred if lets say I robbed a bank and confessed before God yet refused to turn myself and the money in.
So in the following situation what happens?
I cheat on a test and copy homework and get the rewards from it. Technically its lying and I know its wrong but I’m not sorry. Will I go to Hell.
“Nothing unclean shall enter the Kingdom”, right?
So because I have not repented of this sin (or if I did I refused to tell my teachers) I am doomed to Hell because I was not sorry.
The only alternative is that God lets people into Heaven even though they have not confessed their sins and/or have not take on the earthly consequences for their sin.
F.Y.I (I know Catholics would probably say this an issue of mortal/venial sin and purgatory)
