I’ve listened to several of this man Timothy Bundle’s songs, and every one of his lyrics are 100% compatible with Catholic theology. He stresses the soteriology of penal substitution accepted by faith and grace - and of course this theology comes from Sts. Augustine and Anselm.

Have a listen.

I grew up listening to rap, I remember Tupac and Biggie on MTV… And dancing in my living room to LL Cool J when I was like 6. 😀 I have to disagree that rap isn’t music.

It’s not music in the classical sense, but it is lyrical poetry set to a rhythmic beat - certainly a type of music.

I respectfully disagree. Tupac, Biggie (God rest their souls) and LL Cool J came long after the true rappers. When I refer to rap, I’m talking about the true rappers.

Tupac, Biggie and LL Cool J ARE true rappers…

The entire rap genre exists today on the foundations they laid…

Sure people like Big Daddy Kane and Run DMC laid the foundations for THEM… But people like Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Kodak Black, etc. would not exist without the work done by Pac, Big, J, etc.
