From the BBC article: * The persecution of Christians in parts of the world is at near “genocide” levels, according to a report ordered by Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.*

The review , led by the Bishop of Truro the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen, estimated that one in three people suffer from religious persecution.

Christians were the most persecuted religious group, it found.

Mr Hunt said he felt that “political correctness” had played a part in the issue not being confronted.

Muslim countries have to come out of the dark ages with their laws. I’m not sure the world cares enough about Christians anymore though, sadly. We can welcome those fleeing persecution, but we can’t give them their homes back.

Also Palestinian Christians — Israel is not without some responsibility, here. They won’t recognize the Armenian genocide either, which is shocking.

This is an interesting article, especially considering the source, but I was confused how the Philippines is included in that because isn’t that country like 98% Catholic?

It’s 80% Catholic, 10% Protestant, 10% Muslim, unfortunately there is a violent group of Islamic radicals there.

That doesn’t seem to be true when it comes to Islam, though, for some reason. The seed does not take root. It just leaves a desert.
