Do you know any websites where I can find quotes from both Catholic, Protestant and Eastern Orthodox saints althogether?

Also, place your favorite quotes, too.šŸ˜‰

Do you like to get a book all about saints?
I have a book containing more than 500 saints and their lives.

I don’t know about any websites, but I have a really nice book called The Quotable Saint by Rosemary Ellen Guiley that has quotes from more than 100 saints (all Catholic) and they are all arranged by topic (ie. Faith, Happiness, Pride, Silence, etc.) I think it is put together really well and highly recommend it.

Two of my favourites quotes, from my favorite Saint:
I have read in Plato and Cicero sayings that are wise and very beautiful; but I have never read in either of them: Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden.’’
As the soul is the life of the body, so God is the life of the soul. As therefore the body perishes when the soul leaves it, so the soul dies when God departs from it.
-St. Augustine

If we’re talking St Augustine how can we go past my all-time favourite saint quote ever - ā€˜God, grant me chastity and continence, just not yet!’

I have a question. I went to Wikiquote and I found a quote that I like. So how do I take it without violating Copyright laws?

Is it a quote from a Saint? If so, then the Saint isn’t here to take you to court for infringing on his or her copyright; and even if he or she were still living on earth he or she would be too saintly to object. šŸ˜‰

Just so. No-one has any legal right not to be quoted (after all, by saying something you’re putting it out in the public domain, and wikiquote found the quotes to publish in the first place, right).

They only have a right to be quoted accurately and to have themselves acknowledged as the source of the quote. As long as you do so, you can quote whomever and whatever you like.
