i know Judaism is parent religion of Christianity with similarities, but I disagree with some major Judaism tenets that made me stay Christian:
-God in Judaism is Maker of Evil (read deuteronomy 45:7 and Isaiah 30:15 in Jewish sources like Aish and outreach Judaism, where hebrew word used is Ra= Evil. “I (God) create Evil.”
-Satan and all angels do NOT have free will in Judaism, theyre like robots who obey Hashem/God’s orders, demons are another group Shedim (not fallen angels in Judaism), so Satan is still in God’s service IN JUDAISM like a prosecutor…
-God in Judaism is PURELY spirit, so reincarnation of God into a suffering man crucified is no-no for Judaism adherents, and will never go down to man’s level, a distant, stern, punishing God with his robotic angels and even demons (book of kings where God sends evil spirit to harass King Saul, Job) following Hashem’s orders, due to NO free will for angels/demons in judaism
whereas in my faith Christianity:
-God is ALL good, ALLOWS evil due to Free Will…Evil came from God’s enemy/Adversary = Satan (what this name literally means in Hebrew) and catastrophe/suffering as part of human life (Suffering accepted in Christianity)
-Christian God CHOSE to become Man as Jesus,SUFFERED like a human on the cross, experienced Humanity except SIN
-war in heaven during creation and jude, peter, matthew and revelation shows sinful angels with Satan where expelled and thrown down into the Earth and became demons due to the fallen angels free will to sin (angels HAVE free will in Christianity)…christianity asserts GOd only created angels and men…no third group of beings…
that’s why Christianity is the religion of the God who has a HUMAN face…other religions don’t…that’s just the intellectually honest observation based on the texts, as Politically Incorrect as it could be (easier to say here, just too much PC hassle outside)
