It was only in the last few years that I learned that an Octave meant that the feast day extended for 8 days. For instance, Christmas and it’s Octave was one long Christmas day. Is this correct? Is there any special significant graces, or opportunities for indulgences during these times? Any requirements?
Thanks - veras
